This Voluntary Code of Conduct for the Pet Sector (PS VCoC) is the third of three VCoCs developed in public-private partnership efforts in Saint Lucia. It collates current best practices on managing the pet trade in relation to invasive alien species (IAS), as applicable in Saint Lucia. The main target groups are pet stores, breeders and dealers; pet owners; and veterinarians. The document also stipulates support the private sector requires from Saint Lucia public agencies to effectively adopt the PS VCoC.
