The Draft Caribbean IAS Strategy was developed by a consultative process that began in June 2010 with three regional working groups representing freshwater; marine and terrestrial ecosystems contributing to the overall strategy while simultaneously developing an action plan for their respective ecosystem. Three regional consultations were held: the first was in Trinidad in June 2010, the second was in Saint Luica in October 2010 and the third was held in the Bahamas in March 2011. Various consultatnts facilitated the consultative process. This current draft is being ciruclated widely until June 24 2011 for comments. Feel free to post your general comments here.
