The project results support the conservation of biodiversity in the Caribbean region and,  at the same time, contribute to global efforts to safeguard biodiversity.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><br>The Project is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and executed by the CABI with support from the participating countries. The project started in September 2018 and scheduled for completion in March 2024.
