Saint Lucia focuses it preventative measures on strategic pathway interception. Thus, an analysis of high risk / high impact pathways and current interception efficiency was carried out, so that subsequent remedial measures could be focused on the highlighted gaps. The author skillfully identifies discrepancies between theory and practice in IAS prevention and offers down-to-earth recommendations how these should be overcome.
